Greetings Everyone!
My name is Elaine
Probst, and I am the Building Lead at Blackwell Preschool Center. My first year
in this position has been amazingly rewarding, as it has tapped into an inner
passion that has taken off during the first six months of this school year. Of all
of my challenges and experiences, few things could have prepared me for leading
a school and a staff during this difficult time. A silver lining in all of this
has been the skills I acquired both as an Instructional Coach and as a Life
Coach over the past five years. This skillset has reasonably allowed me to
offer practical steps to help people better maneuver these unprecedented times
in our history. As I pondered where to start this work, my colleague and
friend, Crystal Hartsfield, found this Zoom session that will be aired today,Thursday, March 26, @ 6:00 p.m.
The platform for this blog will
sometimes include words of encouragement from me and others, along with quick tips
that you might find helpful. I will invite colleagues and parents to share
their challenges to start a dialogue about how we can offer hope for those in
need. While this virus has separated us physically, it cannot and will not separate
us in our resolve to stay connected and care for each other. Please feel free to post comments to be discussed during our next blogging session.
